Dramatic art: acting technique

The aim of our drama classes is to reveal the expressive potential of each individual, so that they can embody living, breathing characters. Each workshop is structured around three stages, with the aim of overcoming blockages and giving free rein to one's interpretation: body anchoring, which allows you to let go of all the clutter and let your imagination take over; exercises that engage both body and voice, and mobilise the inner self as well as the relationship with others and the world; and finally, the stage presentation. Over the course of the year, the students present 'improvised studies' inspired by their own imaginations, as well as by playwrights and the operatic repertoire. In the second term, they work on the text. Then, at the end of the course, clowning improvisations. This workshop is an invaluable tool for taming the stage, articulating emotions, thoughts and movements, and becoming aware of one's own uniqueness as a prerequisite for full performance capacity.
