Saxhorn / Euphonium

Through exploration of the instrument's repertoire, historical perspective and in-depth technical work, this course aims to develop mastery of the instrument and a critical approach to interpretation. Particular attention is paid to listening to one's body, in order to prevent the aches and pains associated with playing the instrument. The face-to-face teaching approach allows for personalised learning, helping each student to reach his or her full potential.

Italian lyrical diction (accompanists)

Lyric diction classes are unique in their kind, and are a precious resource for interpretation, enabling singers, piano accompanists, musicologists and conductors to discover other cultures, and restore the singularities and poetry of the work in its original language.

The Italian lyric diction course aims to convey all the specific features of the language, particularly the characteristic 'legato', in relation to the technical vocal requirements of singing. In addition to the knowledge of phonetics, diction, grammar, syntax and vocabulary acquired in the first year, in the second year there is in-depth individual work on taking on a role. This provides students with the fundamentals they need to perform in Italian on their own.
