Harmony applied to interpretation
Study and understanding of the logic of harmonic language and its evolution in the main styles (classical, romantic, post-romantic, modern), the mechanisms of modulation according to the periods and their influence on interpretation.
Musical training (dancers)
The main aim of the Music Training course is to develop students' creativity and musicality, as well as their ability to be musically available to meet the demands of today's choreographic landscape. It enriches performer training by providing the theoretical and practical musical tools needed by today's dancers. The course is taken by undergraduate students in DNSP1, DNSP2 and DNSP3. It enables them to build up as broad a musical culture as possible and to develop a critical eye for the relationship between dance and music. The teaching is the same for both classical and contemporary courses, and creates links between the two disciplines.
