    1st HIGHER CYCLE

    Final examination

    Public recital
    Duration: 30 minutes

    • a programme consisting of at least two works of different aesthetic styles, insofar as the repertoire allows.

    2nd year of advanced studies

    1st year recital

    Non-public recital

    Duration: 40 minutes maximum

    1. a free programme of works from different styles and periods ;
    2. an oral commentary by the jury after deliberation.

    2nd year recital

    Public recital

    Duration: 50 minutes maximum

    Free programme

    Exceptionally, or in the case of a restricted repertoire, the group may call on additional instrumentalists from the CNSMD for up to 50% of the programme, in agreement with the teacher.

    The Chamber Music Prize is awarded to the student who has won a prize in each of the two2nd cycle recitals.

    The Chamber Music Prize commendation is the commendation awarded by the jury for the free recital in the2nd year of the2nd cycle.
