Work experience - 1st cycle

Activities in one or more fields of the main discipline carried out before or for an audience outside the Conservatoire's teaching staff and/or in collaboration with members of the profession, enabling students to be confronted with the realities of the profession under professional conditions.

Compulsory for^1st and^2nd cycle and higher cyclestudents in the following disciplines:

- Singing ;

- Jazz ;

- Early music (all main disciplines) ;

- Classical and contemporary instrumental disciplines;

- Musicology

- Writing, composition and conducting.

Certificate issued by the department head on the basis of the document described below.
The student submits a word-processed document on which he or she lists his or her activities in accordance with the definition of work placement, taking care to present :
- a classification of their activities in order of importance from a professional perspective ;
- a presentation separating activities supervised or organised by the Conservatoire and activities not supervised by the Conservatoire;
- all supporting documents attesting to these activities.
This document must be submitted with supporting documents:
in the 1st cycle :
- for performers: with the syllabus for the end of 1st cycle exam or DNSPM submitted to the person in charge of tuition in the main discipline;
- for composers: with the DNSPM final examination dossier submitted to the Principal in the main discipline;
- for conductors: on the first day of the DNSPM final examination session, to the Principal in charge of studies in the main discipline.
