Chamber music (Early music)

Chamber music courses are open to all instrumentalists enrolled in the early music department. The repertoire studied includes music from the late Renaissance, Baroque, Classical and Romantic periods, played on historic instruments. Singers enrolled on the vocal baroque course mingle with instrumentalists, enriching the repertoire taught. Each performer plays in several groups over the course of a year, changing partners and repertoire at each session. There are two public examinations during the year, giving each ensemble the opportunity to showcase their work and progress. As a foundation for every musician, chamber music provides the opportunity to learn and express themselves musically and verbally.
