Choreographic and artistic culture

INFORMATIONS

  • Objectives and content

The aim is to present the evolution and various aspects of choreographic practices, while providing references and keys to understanding that can nourish the reflection and experience of the student, spectator and aspiring artist.

The teaching approach is intended to be interactive, constantly encouraging students to observe, deduce and reflect through the study of images and texts and encouraging oral exchanges. It certainly encourages the acquisition of an artistic culture, but even more so it encourages curiosity and critical analysis, thus contributing to the development of enlightened and sensitive interpreters.

The aim of the assessment is not so much to check students' knowledge of historical elements 'from memory' as to assess their ability to relate what they have learned to their training at the Conservatoire.
