Expected skills :
Ability to assimilate the corrections and the various technical and/or theoretical elements formulated by the teachers.
Precise knowledge of the vocabulary of classical dance and its rigorous physical application.

Required age: 14 to 17 (the age indicated is understood to be on 1 October 2025).
Registration: from 10 October to 15 November 2024 on the Internet www.conservatoiredeparis.fr
Application fee: €88.00 (only CROUS "higher education" scholarship holders are exempt from this fee. Scholarship notification must be submitted by 14/11/2024).

Test date : 19 February 2025 in person (subject to change)
Eligibility - Eliminatory test - 19/02/2025 (morning)
Participation in a classical dance class taught by a Conservatoire teacher.
Duration: 1h30
Candidates with a mark of less than 12 will be eliminated.
Candidates selected at the end of the eligibility test will be required to sit the admission test.
Admission Admission : 19/02/2025 (afternoon)

1 - Presentation of a classical variation of your choice (your own composition or from the repertoire),
Duration of the variation: 1 to 2 minutes maximum.
The soundtrack of the admission variation must be uploaded to your candidate space by 31 January 2025 at the latest. If this is not done, we will consider that the candidate is presenting his/her variation in silence.
2 - Interview with the jury.
Duration: 10 minutes maximum
Each round is marked out of 20. Candidates who obtain an overall mark (average of the two marks) of less than 12 will be eliminated.
N.B.: Successful candidates who are not nationals of French-speaking countries must present, before 30 June preceding their first enrolment at the Conservatoire, a certificate issued by a body approved by the French government attesting to a level of French at least equal to B1 on the Council of Europe's scale of common reference levels.
