Piano accompaniment
From sight-reading alone or with partners, to the practice of transposition, orchestral and vocal ensemble reduction, improvised accompaniment and the study of the orchestral keyboard and contemporary piano, this teaching provides the technical fundamentals of piano accompaniment. Participation in classes, masterclasses and recordings also enables students to work in depth on works from the great instrumental repertoire. To complement this training, numerous workshops and concerts are organised, involving pianists in the life of the school.
APM-SON: Safety standards for risk management in live performance
Specialists in safety issues, occupational risk prevention and electrical hazards raise awareness of the safety required in venues set up for public performances. At the end of these sessions, students will be able to identify and assess the risks inherent in live performance venues. They will also be familiar with the general legal framework relating to the organisation of live performances and the scope of civil and criminal liability.
