Jazz (Beginners)

Objectives and content
To introduce students to the specific language of jazz through group playing. To enable students to discover this music and develop their knowledge of its idiom.

Work is centred on the interpretation of selected pieces (scores) and improvisation on their harmonic framework and form. This option also enables students to become aware of rhythmic problems.
