Chamber music (3rd cycle)
As soon as they start the Artist Diploma - Interpretation Creation course, students are assigned to work on productions related to the course and are placed under the pedagogical and artistic authority of the referent teacher.
Participation in productions is compulsory.
NEXT set
As soon as they start the Artist Diploma - Interpretation and Creation course, students form the NEXT ensemble, an ensemble of fifteen to twenty performers, ideally based on the following nomenclature:
- one flute
- oboe
- one clarinet
- bassoon
- one saxophone
- a horn
- a trumpet
- a trombone or bass trombone
- a tuba
- one or two percussion instruments
- one or two pianos (playing keyboards)
- an accordion
- a harp
- a guitar*
- two violins
- a viola
- one cello
- a double bass
- up to two singers
- a computer music producer

Introduction to generative improvisation (3rd cycle)
This course enables students to develop their own capacity for musical invention in a group and to broaden their range of expression by opening up to current instrumental and electroacoustic techniques.
It enables students to establish historical links between this practice and the development of electroacoustic music in the 20th century.
Professionalisation of the interpreter
This subject is aimed at2nd and3rd cycle student performers, to make them aware of the various issues involved in professionalizing the performer: knowledge of distribution networks, use of new technologies, project design and management, production set-up, ensemble administration, knowledge of stage professions, etc.
Work placement (3rd cycle)
This subject is aimed at3rd cycle students who are required to undertake a work placement in order to develop their professional integration skills in relation to their course of study.
The work placement is the subject of a tripartite agreement between the student, the Conservatoire and the host organisation, in accordance with the legal provisions of the Education Code and the Labour Code.
