IRCAM curriculum
In partnership with the Conservatoire national supérieur de musique et de danse de Paris (Cnsmdp), the Haute École de musique de Genève (HEM ), theAcadémie supérieure de musique de Strasbourg-HEAR, the Conservatoire national supérieur de musique et de danse de Lyon (CNSMDL) and the Pôle supérieur d'enseignement artistique Paris Boulogne-Billancourt (PSPBB). Students enrolled in a master's degree in composition at these establishments have the opportunity, after selection by a dedicated jury, to complete their first year of master's training within the Ircam curriculum.
Non-directed COD DE path
As part of the DE programme, you must validate two DCOs, including one of your choice, which will also validate the DCO for the 2nd cycle-Master's degree.
NB: if one of the DCOs on this list forms part of your training for the DNSPM (and becomes a DCI), then it will not count as a DCO for the DE.
Advanced musical training
This course is devoted to the development of technical (reading, rhythm, auditioning, recording, etc.), analytical and cultural skills relating to the speciality of musical training.
It is aimed at students at state-ranked conservatoires, Pôles Supérieurs d'Enseignement Musicals and the two CNSMDs who wish to specialise in music education and go on to teach this discipline. The aim is to prepare students to continue their studies towards a diploma (either the Diplôme d'Etat or the Certificat d'aptitude). It is also aimed at teachers already in the profession who wish to take part in continuing education.
