The 60-hour teaching placement in instrument, singing or musical training is carried out in the class of a teacher-tutor, usually working in a CRR or CRD. This practical placement places the student in a teaching situation that is monitored over a long period (at least 6 weeks).

Writing a research dissertation is an important part of the teacher training required to obtain the CA and the advanced^2nd cycle diploma in pedagogy, which confers a master's degree. The aim is to put into practice a personal research approach that can draw on all the methodologies taught as part of the course to build a reflection on music pedagogy.

Designing and carrying out an educational project in a wide variety of settings: conservatoires, art schools, national education establishments, social centres, establishments catering for the disabled, cultural structures, etc. These projects take place in France and abroad (Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Spain, etc.).
