• Mastering the various concert sound systems
• Mastering digital sound consoles
• Sound diffusion engineering: mastering design and implementation
• Exploiting network technologies for sound systems
• Mastering the use of broadcast processors (optimising system frequency response and system coverage)
• Mastering the implementation of "line source" systems
• Expert knowledge of sound systems for amplified music and live performance:
  • Design, set-up and operation of a front-of-house and monitor control room
  • Mixing complex musical projects, particularly in the context of PA systems for large venues.

Compulsory completion of a personal sound project

Validation of the project by the FSMS teaching team or validation as part of a presentation of the project for the "Production Projects/Research Project" certificate.
