Partnering

INFORMATIONS

  • Objectives and content

In DNSP2, the work proposed by the two contemporary dance teachers, both from the German movement (from Mary Wigman to Pina Bausch), focuses exclusively on the study of the 'duet' relationship. The fundamental elements at play in this situation are spatial and dynamic relationships, support and repulsion. There is a great deal of experimentation with lifts. A transmission of duets from the contemporary choreographic landscape is used to refine the study of this relationship.

In DNSP3, the workshop deals with different research themes: the trio, the collective, multidisciplinary encounters, encounters in different scenic spaces, the sound environment, etc.

Through creative study and practice, it examines the notion of the 'partner', with a view to developing the choreographer's ability to position himself within a group, to listen and to agree.
