Objectives and content
Composer training includes instrumental, computer and electroacoustic composition, analysis and orchestration, as well as a range of compulsory and optional complementary disciplines.

Entrance terms and conditions
Be enrolled in a1st or2nd cycle composition course.

Assessment terms and conditions
1st cycle supérieur :
Examinations: at the end of years 1 and2: in June: test before the jury: presentation of work produced during the academic year, followed by an interview.
DNSPM final examination: at the end of the 3rd year: in June: test before the jury: presentation of work produced during the academic year, followed by an interview.
Awards :
Examinations: Mention Très Bien, Bien, Assez Bien or radiation.
DNSPM final exam: Pass with distinction (Très Bien, Bien or Assez Bien) or failure.2nd highercycle :
Examinations : at the end of the 1st year: in June: test before the jury: presentation of work produced during the academic year, followed by an interview.
Final examination: at the end of the2nd year: in September and October: Composition Prize:
- Composition of a work lasting no more than 20 minutes, for a maximum of 21 musicians, performed during the Composition Prize concerts.
- Test before the jury: presentation of pieces produced during the 2 years of the cycle, followed by an interview.Awards :
