The Jazz and Improvised Music department welcomes around 80 students each year. Supervised by a team of eleven teachers, they receive a high level of theoretical, practical and experimental training.
Each class is a workshop where young musicians compose, arrange and improvise.
The organisation of themed master classes and concerts inside and outside the Conservatoire de Paris not only provides valuable encounters, but also opens students up to the realities of the working world and gives them a better understanding of the environment, which is vital for their professional integration.
