                  Diplôme de2e cycle supérieur de Violoncelle baroque confering the grade of Master The grade of the2nd cycle diploma conferring the grade of Master is the grade obtained in the free recital in the second year of the2nd cycle.

                  Course objectives and content
                  Development of artistic personality. Ability to design and perform a recital independently. Ability to develop and express a reflection on one's artistic practice. Development of the ability to integrate into professional life. Research and approach a broad and personalised repertoire. Development of a considered and autonomous artistic practice. The Diplôme de2e cycle supérieur de violoncelle baroque conferring the grade of Master (mention Très bien, Bien ou Assez bien) is awarded to the student when he/she has obtained all the following awards : ECTS The Baroque Cello Prize 77 A certificate or attestation in each of the following compulsory complementary disciplines: -Chamber music 4 - orchestra 4 - Treatise study B 4 A certificate or attestation in each of the following specific disciplines: - Modern language (or French as a foreign language) 2 - Research methodology 3 - Personal study work (after completion of Research Methodology) 9 - Practical aspects of the profession 3 2 - Practical aspects of the profession 4 1 - Professional situations 6 - Introduction to teaching methods 4 - A certificate or attestation in one of the following disciplines, as appropriate : 4 - for a student who has obtained a DNSPM in the discipline at the CNSMDP - an attestation or certificate in an optional complementary discipline. - for a student who has not obtained a DNSPM in the discipline at the CNSMDP - an attestation or certificate in each of the following optional disciplines: - Baroque dance

This cycle is open to candidates who hold a1st cycle diploma in the same discipline from a French or foreign higher music education establishment.
Candidates who do not obtain a full1st cycle diploma until the end of the school year may take the competitive entrance examination by attaching a school attendance certificate specifying their situation to their application. If they are successful in the competitive entrance examination, they will not be granted final admission until they have presented the full diploma required, no later than 30 September of their first school year. If they fail to do so, they lose the benefit of their admission.
Pre-selection
After examination by an internal jury of a file including :
- a copy of the Diplôme de fin de1er cycle supérieur from a French or foreign higher music education establishment in the discipline concerned or in a related discipline.
- a curriculum vitae.
Admission:
On the basis of an instrumental test and an interview in French behind closed doors.
- a compulsory work (to be posted on 10 December 2025) ;
- a programme proposed by the candidate lasting approximately 20 minutes and containing, as far as possible, works from different periods and in different styles.
- an interview in French on the candidate's motivations (approx. 15 minutes)
