The Artiste intervenant en milieu scolaire (AIMS) training course is aimed at young artists who have recently graduated from the five major national higher art schools in Paris, which are component members or partners of PSL: the Conservatoire national supérieur d'art dramatique (CNSAD), the Conservatoire national supérieur de musique et de danse de Paris (CNSMDP), the École des Arts Décoratifs de Paris, Les Beaux-Arts de Paris and La Fémis. The aim of this training is to provide them with the complementary skills they need to intervene in the arts and run projects in a school setting, while enabling them to develop their artistic practice. It is based both on the experience of an artistic project carried out with a class, and on research analysing the specific role of the artist in a process of education and transmission based on the experience gained during the year.
