Assessment terms and conditions
1st YEAR HIGH SCHOOL
1st year exam
- two or three compulsory solo works, posted two months before the exam;
- solo parts from the 20thand 21st centuries, list posted two months before the exam.
Year2 exam
- two or three compulsory solo works, posted two months before the exam;
- one or two compulsory ensemble pieces (duo, trio, quartet, etc.), posted two months before the exam.
DNSPM final examination
Public recital
Duration: 30 minutes maximum
- two compulsory solo pieces, posted two months before the examination;
- one chamber music work chosen from a list given during the first term of the academic year.
Each student has 10 minutes to complete the installation.
The Percussion1st cycle certificate is awarded to the student who has passed the DNSPM final examination.
The certificate grade is that awarded by the jury at the end of the DNSPM final examination.
2nd higher cycle
1st year recital
Non-public recital
- one or two compulsory solo works, posted in January ;
- one compulsory chamber music work, posted during the first term of the academic year ;
- one work of your choice for solo percussion, musical theatre or involving the body and/or voice to a significant extent, in agreement with the teacher;
- an oral commentary by the jury after deliberation.
2nd year recital
Public recital
Duration: 50 minutes maximum
Free programme
The Percussion Prize is awarded to the student who obtains an award in each of the two recitals in the2nd year of the advanced cycle.
The Percussion Prize commendation is the commendation awarded by the jury for the free recital in the2nd year of the2nd cycle.
