  • Entrance terms and conditions

    A test given by the teacher at the beginning of the year is used to guide students, whether in an optional complementary subject or a compulsory complementary subject, and to place them in the A or B keyboard harmonisation class. The orientation tests are as follows

    • Harmonisation of a given song, after a short dressing room;
    • Sight-reading on the piano.

    This compulsory orientation test organised by the teacher will take place on Tuesday 17 September 2024 between 9am and 4pm in room 222.

    Individual test times will be communicated by email or on the notice board opposite office 336.

  • Assessment terms and conditions

    End-of-year exam:

    Each test is preceded by a 20-minute preparation in the dressing room:

    • Harmonisation of a classical melody (Haydn or Mozart)
    • Contrapuntal bass (baroque or modern)

    Passing the A certificate with first class honours and first class honours gives access to the B level keyboard harmonization course, on request and subject to availability.

  • Duration of studies

    1 year, 1 to 2 hours per week. Possibility of a2nd year in a level depending on places available and on the teacher's advice.
