Objectives and content
The training will begin with technical work adapted to the knowledge of each student, completed by the study of works from the classical and romantic repertoire which will be worked on for two pianos and followed by pieces from the 20th and 21st century repertoire, rehearsed with instrumentalists.

Entrance terms and conditions
This optional course is reserved first and foremost for Conservatoire de Paris students on the2nd cycle of advanced composition studies, then for students on the1st cycle of advanced composition studies, on the advice of the teachers and the head of department.
Students will be selected on the basis of a letter of application and an interview.

Assessment terms and conditions
Students will be required to compose a piece lasting approximately 5', for a chosen number of players. This work will be the subject of specific rehearsal work with a view to its performance in front of a jury made up of the composition teachers and the teacher of the discipline.
