Generative improvisation (Initiation)

Objectives and content
Develop your own capacity for musical invention, both solo and in group.

Broaden their range of expression by opening up to current instrumental and electroacoustic techniques.

Practising improvisation in relation to other forms of artistic expression (video, text, performance) in one's instrumental or vocal discipline, as part of a collective and/or individual act of immediately generating music, with no predetermined direction for this act.
Entrance terms and conditions

This class is open to all CNSMDP students (instrumental, vocal or theory), subject to availability.
Assessment terms and conditions

Attestation (based on continuous assessment, grade of 10 or above) or certificate with distinction "Très Bien", "Bien" or "Assez-Bien".
