Assessment terms and conditions
1st YEAR HIGH SCHOOL
1st year examination
Time: 20 minutes maximum
- a compulsory programme chosen by the teachers; posted five weeks before the examination ;
- one or more works of your choice, in agreement with the teacher.
Year2 examination
Time allowed: 20 minutes maximum
- a compulsory programme chosen by the teachers; posted five weeks before the exam ;
- one or more works of your choice, in agreement with the teacher.
DNSPM final examination
Public recital
Duration: 30 minutes maximum
- a compulsory programme, posted two months before the examination ;
- one or more works of the candidate's choice, in agreement with the teacher.
The programme must include a contemporary work.
The1st cycle bassoon certificate is awarded to students who pass the DNSPM final examination.
The certificate is awarded on the basis of the grade awarded by the jury at the end of the DNSPM final examination.
2nd higher cycle
1st year recital
Non-public recital
Duration: 40 minutes maximum
- a compulsory programme chosen by the teachers, posted two months before the examination ;
- one or more works of the candidate's choice, in agreement with the teacher, to ensure the overall balance of the programme;
- an oral commentary by the jury after deliberation.
The programme must include a contemporary work.
2nd year recital
Public recital
Duration: 50 minutes maximum
Free programme
The German Bassoon Prize is awarded to the student who obtains an award in each of the two2nd year recitals.
The mention for the German Bassoon Prize is the mention awarded by the jury for the free recital in the2nd year of the2nd cycle.
