1ST POSTGRADUATE CYCLE
1st year control exam
- a compulsory work, posted two months before the exam ;
- a work of your choice, in agreement with the teacher.
2nd year control exam
- one compulsory work, posted two months before the exam ;
- one work of your choice, in agreement with the teacher.
DNSPM final examination
Public recital
Duration: 30 minutes maximum
- a programme of the candidate's choice, in agreement with the teacher, which must include a contemporary work (less than 10 years old), preferably with electronics.
The certificate for the1st cycle of the French horn is awarded to the student who has passed the final examination of the DNSPM.
The certificate is awarded on the basis of the mark awarded by the jury at the end of the DNSPM final examination.
2ND SUPERIOR CYCLE
1st year recital
Non-public recital
Duration: 40 minutes maximum
- one work composed after 1980 including contemporary writing methods, to be chosen from a compulsory list, to be posted two months before the recital;
- two works of your choice, in agreement with the teacher;
- an oral commentary by the jury after deliberation.
As far as possible, the programme will be composed of works from different aesthetic backgrounds.
2nd year recital
Public recital
Duration: 50 minutes maximum
Free programme
The Prix de Cor is awarded to the student who obtains an award in each of the two2nd year recitals.
The mention for the Prix de Cor is the mention awarded by the jury for the free recital in the2nd year of the2nd cycle.
