Contemporary dance
The contemporary dance courses cover different approaches to technical work in order to prepare students to become performers available to meet the demands of the constantly changing choreographic landscape.
These courses are supported by a teaching team that offers a diversity and plurality of teaching methods, while actively networking to ensure greater pedagogical coherence.

Objectives and content
In chronological order, students will go through the subjects based on founding techniques linked to the history of dance in the 20th and 21st centuries: Martha Graham, Merce Cunningham, German dance, post-modern currents and those stemming from the release technique.
The fundamental principle of teaching contemporary dance is to develop a human being, an autonomous and responsible professional dancer, taking into account the diversity of bodies and the uniqueness of each individual.
The teachers aim to develop demanding skills, a mobile and responsive know-how, and a refined and conscious presence.
