Alto trombone

Completing the tenor trombonist's training with an instrument that he or she is likely to play (the "first trombone" in an orchestra may also be given the alto trombone parts).

Work on specific orchestral features and the solo repertoire.

Open to students enrolled in a trombone course

Final exam

1. a work lasting approximately 10 minutes ;
2. two orchestral excerpts.

The tests are chosen by the teacher from among the works and lines worked on during the year.
