Course objectives and content
Objectifs et contenu du cycle d’études
This undergraduate programme is aimed at students from conservatoires (CRR, CRD, etc.),
and universities who wish to pursue musicological studies at
, whilst maintaining close links with performers and the performing arts.
The teaching provided during the first cycle of musicology aims to:
Consolidate the acquisition of fundamental knowledge in music analysis and history
; Foster students’ curiosity and the development of an open-minded
intellectual, artistic and professional approach;
Support students as they become familiar with research tools and artistic mediation.
This programme is structured around three compulsory subjects: music analysis,
and methodology, supplemented by additional modules
that allow each student to tailor their own academic path.
