Objectives and content
Certificate 'A': to enable students to approach works in Russian.
Certificate 'B': to enable students to become familiar with the specific features of Russian diction and to approach works in Russian.

Certificate 'A': Learn the Cyrillic alphabet; listen to and differentiate Russian phonemes, pronunciation

Certificate 'B': in-depth work on phonetics; introduction to the concepts of grammar and syntax

composers (librettos, dramatic context, style of language); preparation of works from the

This course is open only to students in voice direction (compulsory) and to singers (optional).

Assessment terms and conditions
EXAMINATION
A" certificate: one mid-year examination (coefficient 1).
B" certificate: one mid-year examination (coefficient 1).
FINAL EXAMINATION
A" certificate (coefficient 2):
a) an aria chosen and prepared in advance by the student to be recited by heart ;
b) a reading of a simple poem of 4 to 6 lines, prepared in advance by the student;
c) a reading of a text proposed by the jury.
Certificate 'B' (coefficient 2):
a) an aria chosen and prepared in advance by the candidate, to be recited or performed*,
b) a 4-page aria chosen by the jury to be read in rhythm,
c) a poem prepared in advance to be recited* (minimum 2 stanzas of 8 lines),
d) a list of at least 5 works in Russian (songs, arias, romances, oratorios, traditional
oratorio, traditional song, etc.) corresponding to a personal selection of the student's own and which could be included in the student's repertoire at a later date.

Duration of studies
1) "A" Certificate: 1? hours of group lessons per week (one year).
2) Certificate "B": (after obtaining Certificate "A" or having been exempted by the
