Each semester is based on its own programme.

  • Assessment terms and conditions

Continuous assessment accounts for half of the final mark for each semester. It takes into account the work done in class, research projects and compulsory oral presentations.

The final exam of the year includes written and oral tests.

Students enrolled in the first year only sit the written tests, which are common to both years.

    Written test :

This consists of two separate exercises:

    • Listening commentaries on the programme studied during the year. Each extract is heard 3 times; writing time is 40 minutes per commentary.

    • A study of documents (score, critical essay, excerpt from correspondence, musicological study, aesthetic essay, etc.) which may or may not supplement the listening commentaries. Writing time is 2 hours.

    Oral test:

This consists of a presentation on a subject submitted by the candidate and which has given rise to a personal dossier drawn up during the year. It may take the form of an individual or group presentation.

The following scale, based on the average of the continuous assessment mark and the examination mark, is proposed to the jury:

    Assez Bien 12/20

    Very good 16/20
