Transmitting a message about live music that is accessible to a non-specialist audience is what this course is all about, enabling students to understand the social issues involved in transmitting music to a variety of audiences. On completion of this course, they will be able to envisage a career as a musician with mediation skills through the acquisition of effective methods adapted to different audiences. They will be able to run a music workshop in schools, in the local community or in the health and disability sector, as well as designing and implementing a concert presentation adapted to a given venue and audience.
