Objectives and content
By studying the classical and academic repertoire, DNSP2 students are expected to acquire a complete technique and develop their artistic personality. By practising ensemble pieces, the courses also enable them to learn the fundamentals necessary for integration into a corps de ballet (alignment, synchronisation, solidarity, replacement).
In neoclassical and contemporary repertoire, the aim is to explore the diversity of the writing process and to question the 'living' in the notion of repertoire. The works are contextualised in order to discern the issues at stake and the echoes.
In DNSP2, the aim is to find creative sources in neoclassical and contemporary creation that will inform their aesthetic.
In DNSP3, students seek to test their potential as performers and their versatility through a wide variety of styles.
