Vocal technique B

This course is aimed at students of all disciplines who are interested in discovering the vocal gesture, the fundamental mechanisms of the voice and in practising as a group.

Introduction to vocal technique is divided into two modules A and B.

Module B

Module B is open, on selection, to students who have already taken module A, for application through participation in a few productions of the Orchestre de Paris choir season.

The student will take part in a few productions (between one and three) over the season as a whole (chosen in consultation with the Choir team to ensure a balance between the different sections).

The student undertakes to attend all tutti-choir rehearsals (between four and ten) as well as all rehearsals with the conductor and all concerts in the series (generally two or three).

Accessible to students who have already taken Module A, on the basis of an entrance test.

Students may audition Module B without having completed Module A, on the advice of the Module A teacher.
