Sight-reading harp B

Acquire the reflexes needed to read and understand a score quickly.

Acquiring hand and foot reflexes so as to be able to react quickly, particularly in the orchestra.

Developing knowledge of the repertoire.

Reading of texts written specially for sight-reading exams in past decades, as well as regular work on orchestral lines.

Compulsory for all students on the Harp^1st cycle course, from the ^1st year.

Final examination

• performance of two orchestral excerpts chosen by the jury from a list of four excerpts proposed by the student;
• performance of a compulsory orchestral section, posted the day before the examination.

An examination session is held at the end of each semester.

Module B can be validated from the end of the second semester of study.
