    OBJECTIVES

    • To put into practice the first two years of learning and perfect mastery of the software taught.
    • To be able to create and finalise an edit using the best parts of each take in consultation with the artistic director, the conductor and the director's team.

    Knowing how to adapt to production constraints and choices: mastering the post-production of a project in two ways:

    • prioritising music editing
    • prioritising image editing

    • Be able to synchronise an image that is not in sync with the sound (video time-stretch, playback) when the editor is working with a different image take than the sound.
    • Constructing an editing plan (documentary), telling a story through editing, understanding the different cuts possible (shutter effects, jump cuts, avoiding or playing with jumps in axis, the rhythm of editing, playing with off shots, using double or more complex split screens, still or animated, etc.).
    • Image processing (colour grading, trick shots, image distortion, effects, etc.)

    CONTENT

    Practical workshops under the supervision of various professionals from the audiovisual sector and provision of video editing benches for intensive practice (in particular through personal projects).

  • Assessment terms and conditions

    Presentation of the editing method used and a PAD (multi-camera recording, music video, EPK, documentary, etc.) with exports in different formats (international and original version, subtitles or not, export formats for internet or on-air broadcast, etc.).
