Objectives and content
OBJECTIVES
- To know how to choose, define and share (work plan, writing, note of intent, synopsis, bible, storyboard, camera plan, choosing divergent cameras, etc.) production intentions.
- Know how to define a camera set-up in discussion with the shooting location (ticketing, security).
- Be able to communicate your intentions effectively to the producers, then to the technicians, to ensure an overall understanding of the project.
- Be able to create a clear narrative for the audience.
- Acquire the ability to federate artistic and technical teams around a project, to have a global vision, as well as all the stages of a production (knowledge of the different trades and their specificities).
- Master the choice of equipment (format, machinery, focal lengths, lighting intentions, etc.),
- Knowing how to finalise the choice of a team, the choice of frames and their allocation to cameras, knowing how to define optical axes, knowing how to position cameras without framers (remotes) knowing the specificities of using pump stands, with roller bases or shoulder cameras, cranes, dollies, etc.
CONTENT
Practical sessions of multi-camera filming (live or not) during rehearsals, concerts and performances by musicians and dancers at the Paris Conservatoire.

Assessment terms and conditions
Production and broadcasting of a live multi-camera project of a rehearsal session, concert or performance by musicians and dancers at the Paris Conservatoire.
Post-production, presentation and broadcasting of a PAD (multi-camera editing) and comparison between the live version and the edited version (artistic choices and techniques used) in interaction with the "Image editing" discipline.
