Baroque violin (Initiation)

Introduction to the baroque violin and knowledge of its repertoire and different styles. Approach to the Baroque repertoire on the modern violin and on copies of ^18th-century instruments; research into the construction of instruments and bows.

Participation in an orchestra session or chamber music ensemble (early music) on the baroque violin.

Option for 'modern' instrumentalists.

Assessment of course attendance and progress during the year.

1 year (2 years on the teacher's recommendation), 45 minutes of lessons per week.

Lessons are given in the form of one-to-one tuition and in pairs.
