  • Objectives and content
    • Developing an aesthetic sense in relation to the recorded repertoire.
    • Know how to prepare a work session with musicians based on the repertoire.
    • Prioritise artistic and technical issues.
    • Know how to communicate and pass on ideas and advice to the performer during a recording session.
    • Ensure that you are able to make decisions, react quickly and communicate clearly with the performer. Provide technical, organisational and artistic assistance to ensure the success of a recording project.
    • Acquire method and confidence in the choice and implementation of sound recording equipment. Master the various aspects of stereophonic sound recording.

    This course is organised around specific supervised sound recording and artistic direction sessions.

    Master classes are organised to cover certain techniques.

    Compulsory submission of a personal artistic direction project

    Validation of the project by the FSMS teaching team or validation as part of a presentation of the project for the 'Production Projects/Research Project' certificate.
